Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) teams are rapidly growing and focused on advanced automotive technologies across multiple domains.

Chief Audio Signal Processing Engineer - Automotive/System Level (m/f/d)

Your mission

  • Lead and contribute to innovative solutions that make Huawei a recognized and relevant industry partner.
  • Provide technical leadership and concept development during analysis, design, and realization phases.
  • Collaborate with the team and partners to create designs, specifications, and related documentation.

Your areas of expertise

  • Master's or PhD in engineering/science, with a proven track record in research and predevelopment.
  • 15+ years of experience in automotive audio digital signal processing.
  • 10+ years of team leading experience.
  • Background in project management, automotive application lifecycle management, software development toolchains, quality control, and coding standards.
  • Extensive industry experience with major international OEMs.
  • Deep knowledge of at least two automotive audio signal processing areas, with excellent programming skills in C, C++, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Good understanding of acoustics, speakers, rooms, psychoacoustics, tuning processes, and tuning tools.
  • Knowledge of automotive electronics such as amplifiers and head units.
  • Enthusiasm to work in a distributed, multicultural, international team with fluent English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel abroad up to 20% of the time.
  • Eligible to work in the European Union.
