Upstream Optimization is an innovative business unit of the Rosenxt Group that was spun off in 2023. Our focus is on the development of advanced technologies to optimize energy production. Our state-of-the-art flow meter is a non-intrusive clamp-on system that collects extensive operational process data in real time. To analyze this data, we develop cloud-based software solutions that use classic signal processing algorithms and artificial intelligence. In our interdisciplinary, agile and autonomous teams, we drive innovation and customer benefit.

What you can expect

• Analyze, model, and optimize oil and gas production and reservoir performance
• Develop and apply machine learning (ML) algorithms and models to enhance artificial lift systems, production efficiency, and reservoir management
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports for performance monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients
• Analyze, interpret, and evaluate field data, and present results to clients in a clear and impactful manner
• Coordinate with end-users and stakeholders to ensure effective use of extracted data insights
• Work closely with the development team to create value-driven digital products for clients

What you bring

To become part of the Rosenxt family, you impress with analytical thinking and a structured approach to work. Moreover you should bring with you :

• A Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geoengineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on production process optimization
• Hands-on experience in well testing operations, including data evaluation and economic assessment
• Deep expertise in optimizing artificial lift systems
• Foundational knowledge of reservoir optimization techniques
• Experience developing algorithms or AI models for analyzing sensor and time-series data
• Proficiency in data science, machine learning, and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, TensorFlow / PyTorch, cloud platforms, databases)
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); German language skills are a plus
