As a Business Unit Controller, you will be responsible for the financial management and planning of our HMS business unit as part of a team.

1. Creating and analyzing monthly financial statements and reports
2. Co-responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
3. Supporting management in business decisions and strategic planning
4. Developing and implementing KPIs to steer the business unit
5. Conducting variance analyses within project controlling and initiating measures to improve results
6. Further developing and optimizing existing controlling processes
7. Collaborating with other departments (e.g., project managers, sales, production, purchasing) to ensure efficient and targeted budget and cost control
8. Ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• A degree in economics, business administration, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in controlling, ideally in business unit controlling or a similar role
• Strong knowledge in financial and cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting
• Excellent skills in MS Excel and standard controlling software (e.g., SAP, BI tools)
• Strong analytical abilities and high precision and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and an independent, proactive working style
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
