You’ll make an impact by

• You work in the central Incident and Vulnerability Handling Team (PSIRT) for Siemens products and solutions, mainly in the area of critical infrastructures.
• You analyze reported zero‑day vulnerabilities, findings from penetration tests, developer vulnerability reports or alleged compromises for Siemens products and solutions.
• You give input and assist vulnerability task forces for prioritizing, handling and remediating security issues.
• You draft security advisories to inform Siemens customers about vulnerabilities in Siemens products and how to remediate them.
• In the team, you work on the understanding of future developments in vulnerability handling and drive your own topics in this context.
• Ideally, you can extend and maintain the tools and frameworks that you use in our team for vulnerability handling.
• You attend international IT‑security conferences and engage with external partners.
• Through specialized trainings and daily challenges, you continuously update your expert knowledge.

This Is How You’ll Win Us Over

• You have successfully majored in computer science with a focus on IT‑Security. PhD is a plus.
• Long‑term experience in information technologies and operating systems.
• You have profound technological experience in the area of IT‑ and OT‑Security, ideally in a Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT).
• Ideally you have proven skills and a solid track record in hacker techniques, penetration testing, security tools and/or IT forensic.
• You are proficient in terms of software development and network administration.
• Excellent English and German language skills.
