Head of Project Delivery mfd in Quantum Computing Start-Up

As Head of Project Delivery (m / f / d) you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project portfolio at Kipu Quantum ensuring the highest delivery standards across all clientrelated and internal projects. You will align crossfunctional teams drive collaboration between delivery sales and product development and ensure seamless and continuous improvement. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in quantum computing software cloud (Quantum) Machine Learning and services combined with strong project management skills. Your ability to balance excellence stakeholder satisfaction and internal alignment will be critical to the companys success.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and manage the endtoend delivery of multiple highstakes enterprise projects ensuring seamless and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Establish and drive a robust project portfolio management framework prioritizing initiatives optimizing resources and ensuring maximum business impact.
• Ensure effective internal alignment with Product and Engineering teams fostering a productdriven mindset and enabling seamless integration between project and product development.
• Safeguard milestones deliverables and customer expectations proactively identifying and resolving technical organizational or logistical challenges.
• Develop and refine processes for risk assessment resource allocation and project timelines enhancing delivery excellence.
• Act as the key point of contact for seniorlevel stakeholders ensuring effective communication expectation management and longterm relationship building.
• Drive operational improvements in project planning and governance to scale the delivery function as the company grows.
• Provide handson leadership coaching and support to multidisciplinary teams to enhance their individual and collective performance.

Your profile

• Completed studies in Physics Computer Science Engineering Business Administration or comparable qualifications
• Proven track record in stakeholder management project delivery or strategic account management ideally in a hightech startup scientific industry or management consulting
• Solid professional experience in a senior or leadership role with strong project management expertise including familiarity with Agile Scrum or similar methodologies
• Understanding of quantum computing principles applications and ecosystem trends would be an advantage
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills capable of engaging with technical and nontechnical stakeholders at senior levels

• Excellent command of English is necessary and German is a big plus

Kipu Quantum is a German startup focused on quantum computing with offices in Karlsruhe and Berlin. We specialize in developing quantum algorithms tailored for specific applications and hardware. In December 2023 Kipu Quantum secured 10.5 million in seed funding led by HV Capital and DTCF (DeepTech & Climate Fonds) with participation from Entrada Ventures Quantonation and First Momentum Ventures. This funding will support the development of our hardwarespecific quantum algorithms and accelerate the commercialization of our quantum solutions.
