Your Future Role

Our Siegen site is an international competence center for bogies. 800 colleagues develop, manufacture, test, and repair bogies for global rail traffic, ensuring stability and comfort on the tracks. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Site Managing Director and lead a dedicated team of 3 employees.

We’ll look for you to:

• Act as the liaison between the Procurement Function and Site operational teams
• Support tender preparation by overseeing procurement cost commitments
• Support project execution by managing supplier performance in terms of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)
• Facilitate and manage the procurement team
• Drive procurement performance
• Contribute to project execution and profitability
• Promote operational excellence with a focus on cash management
• Monitor and report on performance metrics

• Previous experience in commodity management
• Procurement professional background
• Strong Management experience (5 to 10 years) of multicultural teams
• Strong Technical knowledge of the commodity and supplier market expert in the commodity
• Possessing an International mindset and a fluent English speaker
• Strong Leadership expertise
• Great Communication skills & Team spirit
• Internal and external Customer influencing skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a matrix environment
• Able to challenge in potentially conflicting situations
