Overview

As the Logistics, Warehouse & Customs Senior Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of logistics, warehouse and customs operations across the EUSA region (Europe, Middle East, South America). Your mission is to optimize logistics spend, streamline inbound and outbound processes, and ensure all transportation solutions are effective, compliant, and cost-efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Design and continuously optimize regional inbound and outbound logistics networks, including routing, consolidation, and distribution concepts.
  • Lead and execute tenders for road, sea, and air freight, warehousing services, and customs brokers, including negotiation and performance management.
  • Standardize and improve warehouse operations across the region, covering receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, and material flow.
  • Strengthen inventory accuracy through clear procedures, cycle counting, and systematic use of digital tools.
  • Define, monitor, and actively manage KPIs such as OTD, freight cost per unit, inventory accuracy, productivity, and clearance lead time.
  • Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Drive digitalization initiatives to improve end-to-end visibility, data quality, and decision-making.
  • Proactively identify logistics, warehousing, and customs risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans in collaboration with stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in international logistics, warehousing, and customs within a complex, multi-country environment in automotive (preferably wiring harness) sector.
  • Proven expertise in freight tendering, carrier and broker management, customs clearance, and trade compliance.
  • Strong background in warehouse operations, inventory management, and process standardization.
  • Solid experience with ERP systems, TMS/WMS solutions, and performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive optimization and digitalization initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
  • Valid work permit for EU or Serbia.
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Readiness to travel min. 40% of time.
