These categories are pivotal to eBay’s strategic future and are at the forefront of market innovation and transformation. This role requires a three-sided mentality: (i) a strategic leader with a deep understanding of two-sided marketplaces, capable of deconstructing complex problems into clear frameworks, operating in ambiguity, with strong data intuition and executive communication skills; (ii) an embedded operator ready to act decisively and hands-on; and, (iii) an analytics leader with expertise in developing data, reporting, and insights assets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including analytics, commercial teams, product, and leadership.
  • Manage inventory intelligence workstreams and communicate findings to leadership.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within inventory, analytics, and product teams for faster, accurate decision-making.

What You Will Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in business analytics, insight generation, consulting, or operations.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
  • Proven ability to structure unstructured data to develop insights.
  • Strong SQL & Excel skills; Tableau and Python experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and leadership engagement.
  • Experience in consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, or tech sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
