What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud networking solutions across multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Implement and maintain network security strategies, including firewalls, VPNs, zero-trust architectures, and compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR
• Automate cloud networking and security configurations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud-native networking services (e.g., VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS) to ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate secure networking solutions and document technical designs for knowledge sharing
  
  

Who you are

• Experienced in cloud networking and security with expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and strong knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
• Skilled in automation and scripting with tools like Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Bicep, and familiar with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR)
• Certified or experienced in relevant areas (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate) and fluent in English (German is a plus)
• A proactive team player with strong communication skills, a “can-do” mentality, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Willing to participate in on-call service and travel occasionally to Knauf sites worldwide
