Business Development Director, EU / DACH Region

Location: Hannover, Hannover (Hybrid)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We seek a highly motivated Business Development Director with expertise in Market Access and Pricing to drive revenue growth and strategic partnerships across Europe, especially the DACH region. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, leading account development, executing growth strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and delivering impactful proposals and presentations. Fluency in German and English, deep industry knowledge, and understanding of HTA requirements are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  2. Represent Kintiga's culture, vision, mission, and values.
  3. Build relationships across teams to support sustainable growth.
  4. Maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture within the BD team.
  5. Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry best practices to inform proposals.
  6. Stay updated on HTA, regulatory changes, and industry advancements.
  1. Business Development
  2. Develop new accounts, target clients, and identify opportunities.
  3. Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams to pursue client opportunities.
  4. Engage with clients to understand needs and gather feedback.
  5. Coordinate with BD Operations, Project Managers, and Delivery Leads on proposals.
  6. Create and deliver pitch presentations with Marketing and technical experts.
  7. Organize webinars and presentations to enhance Kintiga's profile.
  8. Attend industry conferences to develop relationships and generate leads.
  9. Identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  10. Ensure successful execution of new client projects, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  11. Address issues during scoping and proposal processes.
  12. Potentially contribute to billable work focused on commercial strategy and early access based on expertise.

  2. Support and implement strategic plans for client accounts and company growth.
  3. Develop and manage account budgets for profitability.
  4. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Communications, or related field with significant experience in Market Access.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, market access, or similar roles within the European pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of the European pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, including medical, regulatory, and market access landscapes.
  • Proven success in client relationship management, business growth, and revenue achievement.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM and proposal management software.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and in teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
