Founded in 1981, our client is a leading consumer electronics company with 25,000 employees across 78 countries. Present in Europe since 2007, they are currently operating in 11 European countries, including France, the UK, and Italy. They are seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to develop and manage the company's business in the German market.

Key Accountabilities:

Reporting to the German Country Manager, the Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for developing sales of consumer electronics products, including TV & Audio, Home Appliances, and Small Appliances in Germany. The position is based in Munich.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Managing existing open accounts in the consumer electronics market and acquiring new accounts to maximize market penetration and meet business targets.
  2. Establishing and strengthening relationships with customers.
  3. Negotiating prices and commercial terms with customers.
  4. Managing the country forecast by product line for assigned customers.
  5. Developing trade marketing strategies and promotional activities in collaboration with the local marketing team.
  6. Providing feedback on customer competition, volume potential, and pricing strategies to refine sales and market strategies.
  7. Analyzing market data to define action plans to achieve targets.
  8. Maintaining a comprehensive database of prospects, competitors, and customers, and providing information to management as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of key account management and sales experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in the consumer electronics industry, especially in the TV market.
  • Existing network and ability to approach potential clients effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to achieve ambitious targets while working as part of a team.
  • Open to new business challenges and company initiatives.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in business development.
  • Passionate, energetic, self-driven, motivated, and proactive with a positive attitude.
