The Chair of Digital Marketing deals with marketing issues and the central challenges of digitalization. In doing so, we work closely with renowned companies. During your doctorate, we will accompany and support you in identifying exciting questions at the interface between science and practice and in developing innovative approaches to solutions. An exemplary current project is concerned with a “data-driven understanding of the city center ecosystem”. To this end, we are developing field experiments in shopping centers with practice partners from the stationary retail sector and linking the findings with movement and sales data from retail stores as well as pedestrian frequency data from the city center. Academic Environment
