Audio Factory Media GmbH is looking for an experienced Java Software Developer (m/f/d) for our brand sonicsense to start as soon as possible!

sonicsense is an innovative B2B audio system developed since 2007 for professional background sound reinforcement in stores, shopping centers, fitness studios, restaurants, and hotels. We have built a stable customer base both nationally and internationally.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java Software Developer with solid experience to join our team. After a short training period, you will be responsible for further development and optimization of our system. You will have the opportunity to introduce new technologies and influence the future direction of our platform.

Your Tasks

1. Conception, development, and optimization of Java-based software solutions under Linux
2. Architecture and code optimization for a scalable and high-performance platform
3. Working with Jetty, Vaadin, Guice, NetBeans, Maven, Ant, JPA (EclipseLink), and Derby
4. Further development and maintenance of REST APIs
5. Independent project implementation and close collaboration with the team

Your Profile

1. Several years of Java development experience under Linux
2. Strong knowledge of Java technologies (e.g., Jetty, Vaadin, Guice)
3. Confident handling of databases and JPA (EclipseLink, Derby)
4. Experience with build and deployment tools (Maven, Ant)
5. Analytical, conceptual, and independent working style
6. Fluent written and spoken German and technical English skills
