To support our Agent Platform at the Hamburg headquarters, we are looking for you as a Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d)* - Java & Kotlin with immediate effect in full-time (40 hours). We seek a motivated and creative team player who enjoys delivering results, communicating, and working with passion & care.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, deploy, and operate the application — full DevOps cycle
• Define pipelines and orchestrate resources efficiently
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Participate in technical discussions and presentations with engineers inside and outside your team
• Implement best practices in security and data protection
• Take end-to-end ownership of your solution from design to release

Qualifications

• Several years of commercial programming experience in Java and Kotlin with hands-on experience in Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of data structures, relational database design principles, and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Understanding of modern cloud-based backend architectures and technologies (GCP preferred)
• Familiar with Git, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Experience creating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Experience developing distributed systems with high performance and reliability requirements
