As part of continued growth, the company is expanding its in‑house legal function and is now looking to hire a junior to mid‑level legal counsel who wants to build a broad, hands‑on legal skillset within a stable and modern industrial environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 1-3 years of experience to transition into (or further develop within) an in‑house setting and work closely with senior legal leadership and business stakeholders across the organisation.
Your role
- Working closely with the Head of Legal, you will be involved in a wide range of civil and commercial law matters while steadily expanding your responsibilities and expertise.
Your key tasks will include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts across various areas of civil and commercial law
- Advising internal stakeholders on day‑to‑day legal questions in a pragmatic, business‑oriented manner
- Supporting the legal team on damage, liability and insurance‑related matters
- Contributing to legal topics related to IT law and digital processes
- Gradually taking ownership of compliance topics, with a particular focus on product compliance
- Supporting the further development of internal legal standards and processes
This is a generalist in‑house role with strong learning exposure, ideal for lawyers who enjoy working closely with the business and want to grow beyond a narrow legal niche.
Your profile
- Fully qualified lawyer (two State Exams or equivalent)
- Several years of experience in Commercial and Civil Law at a law firm or in an inhouse legal department
- Interest in building broad expertise across multiple legal areas
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently with different teams
- Structured, reliable and independent working style
- High sense of responsibility and willingness to learn
- Very good German and good English skills
