Senior Engineer (all genders) - Propulsion Control Systems Integration Lead

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for technical coordination of functional integration of propulsion control systems to the aircraft
  • Generation and supervision of proper documentation to ensure compliance to Certification requirements (SDD, SRD, IRD…)
  • Development of technical integrated solutions to problems, in pragmatic manner in accordance with general schedule
  • Supervising ground, flight tests and entry into service operation
  • Assessment and concurrence to the safety analyses at aircraft and system level
  • Determine risks and opportunities at subsystem level

Qualifications

  • Educated Engineering degree (BA Eng/Sc, MA Eng/Sc) in aeronautics / aviation or mechanical
  • Greater than 5 years professional experience in relevant fields of aircraft development and product requirements
  • Experience on propulsion systems integration
  • Experience of propulsion control systems performance
  • Experience with working with suppliers and managing deliverables
  • Experience with type certification methods and ARP 4754 implementation
  • New product development experience on at least one new aircraft programme
  • Technical problem-solving ability, on time, on cost and on quality and in accordance with customer expectations
  • Fluent English language skills are essential; German or any other language is beneficial
  • Flexible, team spirit
