LOCATION: Augsburg, Germany or Bucharest, Romania

THE ROLE:

In our Linux department, we integrate software solutions in the cloud/server-based computing environment into our Linux-based IGEL OS. Our developers are responsible for the entire development process from planning to completion, focusing on areas such as software integration, client/tool development, customization, and more.

To expand further and strengthen our market position, we are seeking motivated developers for our offices in Augsburg, Bremen, or Karlsruhe.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Integration, maintenance, and testing of partner software components
• Collaborate on customer support cases with our software partners
• Integrate new releases and enhance IGEL configuration support for new features
• Maintain servers and communication systems on our development and testing infrastructure
• Design and implement automated tests
• Manage continuous releases of IGEL OS partner apps

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Administration skills in VDI environments
• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, C/C++
• Good understanding of network infrastructures
• Network analysis and debugging skills
• Knowledge of load balancers, proxies, VPNs, certificate management, authentication methods, and identity management
• Skills in issue reproduction and analysis
• Technical communication skills
