Overview

Expert Talent Acquisition (Executive Search) role based in Stuttgart. Lead high‑impact recruitment efforts focused on senior and executive‑level talent across European operations. Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving strategic hiring initiatives that align with organizational goals. Requires deep expertise in executive search methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and market intelligence, particularly within the engineering, procurement, and construction sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Talent Acquisition: Partner with senior leadership to define hiring needs, develop search strategies, and execute full‑cycle recruitment for executive and leadership roles.
  • Market Mapping & Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research and talent mapping to identify and attract top‑tier leadership candidates across regions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with C‑level executives, HR business partners, and external search firms to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the search process.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver a premium candidate experience through personalized communication, discreet handling of executive searches, and seamless interview coordination.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to position the company as an employer of choice for senior professionals in the region.
  • Offer Strategy & Negotiation: Lead compensation benchmarking and offer negotiations in partnership with Total Rewards and senior stakeholders.
  • Compliance & DE&I: Ensure all executive search activities comply with local labor laws and internal DE&I standards, maintaining confidentiality and integrity throughout.
  • Project Leadership: Drive strategic talent acquisition projects, including succession planning, leadership pipeline development, and executive onboarding programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years focused on executive search
  • Proven success in recruiting senior leaders within engineering, construction, or industrial sectors
  • Fluent in English; German language proficiency strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of European labor markets
  • Experience with executive search platforms, ATS systems, and CRM tools
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Stuttgart at least 3 days per week
