Senior IT Service Manager - Application Lifecycle Management (m/w/d)

Full-time, nationwide at a BWI location, starting immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the service lifecycle and operation of customer applications within the 'Application Hosting' service package.
  • Coordinate the implementation, migration, and operation of applications on standardized operational platforms.
  • Lead the service team and ensure contractual service delivery and quality (e.g., SLAs, costs).
  • Ensure compliance with operational processes and regulations in application hosting.
  • Participate in solution design, implementation, and development of new applications and services.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent training in business and/or computer science.
  • Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience, including leadership and IT customer projects, preferably in government or industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT services such as managed servers, databases, virtualization, middleware, and networks, ideally in data centers.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, agile methods, and experience in operational management, migrations, or outsourcing projects, preferably in the public sector.
  • Goal-oriented, good delegation and communication skills, responsible, meticulous, and conscientious working style.
  • Fluent German skills in speaking and writing.
