The Role
The Head of Marketing Europe is expected to implement and deliver the Marketing & Communications strategy for Europe.
While the general strategy is largely in line with the global strategy, the role holder is expected to develop individualized approaches based on the requirements of the region's target markets.
The role requires broad experience in all fields of marketing, preferably within the automotive industry, including brand building of new brands.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Adapt the global marketing strategy to meet the requirements of European markets for the product and the brand Grenadier, consistent with brand values.
- Conceive, plan and execute regional and local events with the help of third parties that align with the Grenadier brand strategy and messages.
- Work with the central marketing and events teams to maximize regional impact and sales value of global marketing and event assets, with appropriate adaptations for local specifics.
- Maintain close working relationships with the European Head of Sales, Regional Sales, and Aftersales Managers.
- Collaborate with the Sales Operations Manager and Regional Sales Managers to maximize the INEOS sales funnel.
- Manage the quality of external communication materials.
Qualifications:
- Minimum education to first degree level (BA or equivalent), Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in leadership with a solid management style, prioritization, and goal-setting skills.
- Self-motivated attitude and influencing skills.
- Experience in marketing communications and media in a B2C environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends and best practices.
- Creative with the ability to think outside the box.
- Articulate with strong presentation skills.
- Experience coordinating agencies to complete multiple projects successfully.
- Automotive experience is highly desirable, but broader sector experience is a plus.
- Proven involvement with national/international branding activities.
- Experience managing substantial budgets.
- Awareness of or experience in markets with diverse cultural and religious demographics.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are helpful.
