Test Engineer - (m / f / d)

For one of our automotive clients in Stuttgart, we are actively seeking a Test Engineer (m/w/d). The position is to be filled as soon as possible.

Your tasks will include:

• Keeping the software versions of the central hardware components (display, HU, KOM module) up-to-date in coordination with contact persons and according to the software release plan.
• Finding solutions and restoring testability of the hardware infrastructure in case of problems (e.g., software update issues) with the help of other contacts.
• Ensuring a minimum level of B2 in German is mandatory.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Independently managing the setup, operation, and maintenance of test board superstructures and test vehicles within the RD / MXN navigation department, in coordination with responsible contacts.
• Familiarity with different hardware setups of telematics generations (NTG7, Gen20x.i2, Gen20x.i3), including initial test board setup, component cabling, minor modifications, and ECU replacements, along with specific commissioning routines for CIVIC and TCU (RAMSES).
• Proficiency in using residual bus simulation software ET-Framework, Monaco, and the TUT tool for software updates of the HeadUnit. Familiarity with WinSCP, PuttY, and SSH Shell.
