Your Challenge

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Director (all gender) for our team at Maritim Hotels Mauritius. The portfolio includes:

• Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius
• Welnest (Apartments, Penthouses & Villas)
• Jacaranda (Villas)
• La Reserve (Apartments, Penthouses)

You will develop and execute the commercial strategy, manage revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance brand reputation in Mauritius. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, business development, negotiations, budgeting, and market analysis.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing commercial strategies aligned with company goals.
• Leading sales, marketing, revenue management, and distribution teams.
• Building relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders.
• Negotiating high-value deals and contracts.
• Managing budgets and resources.
• Fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
• Reporting on performance and strategic insights.
• Monitoring market trends and competitors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in business development or commercial management, with roles like Commercial Director or Sales Director.
• Proven success in revenue growth and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, especially in the Indian context.
• Expertise in market research, data analysis, financial forecasting, and budgeting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Multilingual in German, English, and French.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Knowledge of markets in UK, DACH, France, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related.
• Certifications like CSP or CIM.
• Experience with digital marketing, CRM, and sales analytics tools.
• Financial forecasting and budget management skills.
