Production Manager / Produktionsleiter (m/w/d) - Werk Tirschenreuth

Job Overview

Imerys Tableware Deutschland GmbH in Bayern specializes in manufacturing high-quality ceramic raw materials used mainly in the ceramic industry for products like dishes and tiles. The Tirschenreuth site employs around 40 colleagues.

You are responsible for ensuring a smooth, cost-effective, and quality-focused production process, maintaining plant availability, planning personnel resources, and driving continuous improvements at the Tirschenreuth site.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Organize and optimize production processes considering upstream and downstream processes such as mining, processing, and manufacturing.
• Monitor and ensure manufacturing and process quality to satisfy customers.
• Lead and define responsibilities within specific production areas.
• Guide, instruct, and train employees; set goals and ensure their achievement.
• Manage communication and information flow.
• Coordinate with international teams and external partners.
• Maintain order and cleanliness.
• Handle administrative tasks.

Your Profile

• Technical education, Bachelor/Master degree preferred.
• Several years of experience in a production environment, preferably in raw material extraction or processing.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and safety process implementation preferred.
• SAP knowledge is desirable.
• Good command of English is essential due to international collaboration.
• Structured working style, organizational skills, and planning ability.
• Hands-on mentality, assertiveness, and team spirit.
