Data Scientist for knowledge retrieval with AI (f/m/d) - Inklusiver Job

Your tasks:

1. Conceptualization and development of data science solutions in the context of document analytics, natural language processing with AI and LLM-supported chatbots to support the diverse TÜV SÜD business areas, e.g. in the fields of medical technology, elevators, or automotive.
2. Implementation of solutions using state-of-the-art data science methods, particularly in the areas of machine learning and AI, including LLMs, e.g. for extracting technical documents or checking the completeness and consistency of complex texts and documents.
3. Conceptualization of AI agents.
4. Accompanying the transition of solutions into operation and providing analytical support for existing solutions.
5. Close collaboration in cross-functional, agile project teams with other data scientists, software developers, and subject-matter experts.
6. Proactive identification of trends in the field of data science and utilization for analytical solutions.

Your qualifications:

1. Successfully completed studies in computer science, physics, mathematics, statistics, econometrics/economics, or a comparable qualification.
2. At least 5 years of practical experience in the application of data science methods in a corporate or consulting environment.
3. In-depth expertise in current data science methods, particularly machine learning and AI, e.g. in the area of LLMs or natural language processing.
4. Expertise in information retrieval using RAG and/or graph databases is advantageous.
5. Experience with MS Azure and Azure DevOps is advantageous.
6. Comprehensive knowledge of programming with Python in the data science environment.
