Senior Sales Account Manager - Services (w/m/d) - Darmstadt (Remote)

Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare and help continuously develop our services portfolio. This role ensures optimal customer support for existing and new clients across Germany.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop an attractive services portfolio for existing and new customers, including pricing.
  • Train and support colleagues in sales and service to independently market the standard services portfolio.
  • Prepare solutions and concepts for large customers and present them on site.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer side stakeholders such as the management, department heads, technical and IT leaders, end users, and consultants.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and market potentials based on market and competitive data, and optimize the sales strategy.
  • Represent the services portfolio of VARIAN at trade fairs, conferences, and events.
  • Support the Service Management in budget planning/forecast processes and business analysis.
  • Report to the Service Management in Germany.

Your qualifications

  • Completed degree in MedTech, Engineering, Medical Physics, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
  • Extensive experience in the medical technology field, preferably in sales, service, or a technical role. Experience in developing and promoting healthcare services is advantageous.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, good technical understanding, and experience in project costing.
  • Expertise in equipment operation in a clinical environment, strong customer orientation, and the ability to build and maintain long‑term relationships, networks, and partnerships.
  • High self‑motivation, excellent communication and presentation skills, strong assertiveness, strategic and innovative thinking.
  • Excellent analytical, social, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 30%).
