Gigafactory Berlin is central to Tesla's success in Europe, relying heavily on passionate and motivated employees. We seek a professional to oversee Giga Berlin’s Compensation and Benefits strategy, bringing expertise, strategic insight, and adaptability to a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

  1. Develop and maintain a Total Rewards strategy aligned with Tesla's Compensation Philosophy, including overseeing salary surveys, compensation studies, and pay structures.
  2. Lead the design, implementation, communication, and administration of Total Rewards programs to promote a pay-for-performance culture, supporting attraction and retention.
  3. Build strong relationships within the organization to stay aligned with business needs and oversee communication on key initiatives.
  4. Manage, train, and guide the Total Rewards team, oversee vendor management, and monitor policy effectiveness, recommending cost-effective revisions.
  5. Develop and implement compensation tools, streamline processes, and collaborate with payroll and HR teams.
  6. Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to communicate compensation packages and develop strategies for hard-to-hire roles.
  7. Coordinate with Legal and finance teams on the Equity Program, ensuring compliance and supporting budgeting and reporting.

What You'll Bring

  1. Over 8 years of leadership experience in benefits and compensation teams, with proven team development skills.
  2. Strong leadership skills, strategic and tactical capabilities, and the ability to operate under pressure.
  3. Deep expertise in compensation and benefits program development, with experience in tools and systems.
  4. Effective conflict management, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, fluent in English and German, with strong presentation skills.
  6. High organizational talents, multitasking ability, and a strong work ethic.
