Project Manager for Building Materials and Applications (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

• You are supporting our Focus Group Manager developing our business in international distribution of chemical raw materials in the buildings and construction segment
• This includes the technical product explanations to our sales colleagues in Central and Eastern Europe as well as clients, ensuring clients fully understand their applications and benefits
• Therefore, you are occasionally travelling internationally to visit our clients together with the local sales colleagues
• Furthermore, you are taking over the sourcing and management of international suppliers as well as clients
• Thus, you manage the international purchasing and trading of chemical raw materials in the buildings and construction segment
• Additionally, you are supporting in the onboarding and technical training of (new) sales colleagues within our HSH Chemie Group and foster our international collaboration by frequently sharing experiences and information

Your profile:

• You have a university or technical education with a focus on chemistry and solid knowledge of raw materials related to constructions and buildings
• Furthermore, you have at least 2 years of experience in a technical, commercial or project management role increasing your practical knowledge of cellulose ethers or mortar standards and behavior – preferably in an international working environment
• Based on your strong communication and listening skills, you easily understand your colleagues’ and clients’ needs and are able to explain technical concepts target group-oriented
• You are an open-minded person who is thinking outside the box and willing to continuously learn and develop
• Furthermore, you are characterized by a strong solution orientation as well as a high degree of initiative, reliability and commitment
• Additionally, you are a strong communicator in written and verbal English, further languages being a plus
• You are willing to travel within Central and Eastern Europe, visiting colleagues, our laboratory as well as clients
