Interdependencies
- Medical functions in-house (office-based Medicals), RWE, HEVA, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Study Unit, MedInfo, Commercial, Market Access, Public Affairs
- External stakeholders (scientific experts, patient organizations, medical societies, health authorities, etc.)
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HCP/KOL engagement plans; document interactions in CRM; gather insights
- Proactively and reactively engage with healthcare professionals and institutions
- Coordinate with external stakeholders for scientific and medical information exchange within the autoimmune diabetes/screening therapeutic area through individual meetings and group events
- Organize and involve KOLs and healthcare representatives in local scientific events and meetings (standalone, webinars, etc.) aligned with the medical plan
- Build and maintain trust-based partnerships with healthcare professionals and institutions through scientific collaboration and exchange
- Communicate the clinical value of medicines to healthcare decision-makers
- Provide high-quality, accurate, balanced, and targeted information in response to unsolicited inquiries, support investigators with IIR submissions, and manage local advisory boards
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans in line with medical strategy
- Generate valuable insights and propose solutions
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, ensuring compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards
- Contribute to evidence generation activities, supporting internal projects and IISs
About You
- University degree in medicine, biology, pharmacy, or postgraduate scientific qualification (required)
- Experience in a field-based medical role, e.g., as an MSL, Medical Advisor, medical field representative, or pre-launch experience (preferred)
- Developing stakeholder strategies and engaging with KOLs
- Effective scientific communication skills with healthcare professionals
- Strong medical understanding and interest in autoimmune diabetes
- Experience with CRM tools and digital channels for scientific exchange
- Strategic thinking, business acumen, relationship-building, cross-functional collaboration, agility in learning
- Native German language proficiency; intermediate business English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel approximately 70-80% within the assigned region; valid driver’s license required
