Our Team - your impact

Join our international team of over 130 data scientists and engineers, where you will leverage deep expertise and contribute your own. You will consult with business stakeholders on technical matters and implement state-of-the-art machine learning solutions, utilizing methodologies like NLP, computer vision, forecasting, and optimization on platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, and OpenAI. We offer technical infrastructure, training, and certification opportunities.

Your Role - meaningful & rewarding

• Drive new Data & AI initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders, identifying challenges, and translating them into technical requirements.
• Design and deliver scalable data and AI solutions across E.ON countries, with global impact.
• Take ownership of technical projects, ensuring high data and code quality, and that solutions meet requirements.
• Maintain stability through agile practices, peer reviews, and feedback.
• Evaluate emerging data technologies to integrate cutting-edge machine learning solutions into cloud environments.
• Develop reusable AI models to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
• Stay updated with latest trends in data science, AI, and technology to foster innovation.

Your Profile - authentic & open-minded

• Extensive experience as a Data Scientist with a degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong consulting and communication skills, capable of translating business challenges into data strategies and adapting messaging for various audiences.
• Hands-on experience with coding, large datasets, time series, optimization, NLP models in Python, and ML tools like scikit-learn, XGBoost, DL frameworks; capable of validating models and deploying scalable pipelines on Spark/Databricks and Azure ML.
• Passion for scientific inquiry and problem-solving, with a focus on delivering practical business solutions.
• Proven experience in end-to-end data pipelines, especially in cloud environments, with Azure expertise as a plus.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, Azure DevOps, visualization tools like Streamlit or PowerBI; fluency in English and German.
