Senior Fullstack Engineer

We are working with an Inhouse Tech Company that operates across Europe as market leaders in their sector, transforming a traditionally offline industry with a unique digital platform. Established in 2019, they have grown 40% year on year and are backed by solid funding from experienced founders and VCs with a clear path to profitability.

They have 4 offices in Germany and are looking to grow their Development team in Hamburg with a Backend Focused Senior Fullstack Developer working with Node, TypeScript, React and AWS who can help develop and improve their unique digital platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Work on our Order Engine—the core of our platform—ensuring functionality and optimization
• Design and implement scalable features in a microservice environment
• Write automated tests and improve code quality
• Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and help shape the product
• Help define technical standards and processes
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Core: TypeScript, Node.js, AWS Lambda
• Frontend: React

Nice-to-Have Tools & Skills:

• React Query, React Hook Form
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Serverless, Terraform)
• GitHub Actions, Sentry
• PHP, Vue.js

What We’re Looking For

• Senior-level engineering experience (impact and ownership over just years of experience)
• Strong backend or full stack experience in a modern cloud environment
• Ability to work proactively and independently
• Good communication skills in English and German B1
• A team player with a focus on delivering value to the product
• Salary: up to €90K
• 1 day home office (Office based in Hamburg)
