Your Talent
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance or related experience
- Minimum 10 years international apparel product management experience with top tier international sports company, with 3+ years management experience required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Credible knowledge of sportswear/fashion consumer trends and Apparel market/retail dynamics in different markets
- General knowledge of international retail environment
- Awareness of agile working methods to foster collaboration with key stakeholders in design/development to capture fast lead times
- Strong leadership skills. High initiative, high energy, passionate, decisive, eye for detail, confident.
- Strong analytical, overall business orientation
- Ability to frame and defend an alternative position
- Ability to convincingly present category knowledge using PowerPoint and spreadsheets
- Up to 30% domestic and international travel required, including regular travel to PUMA’s HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
Your Mission
- Managing market- and competitor studies on an international level in collaboration with the Merchandising organization, as well as analyzing forecasts and sales data
- Developing and ensuring detailed collection strategies on a seasonal basis, aligned with company and Business Unit strategies
- Creating a conceptual assortment plan (CAP) based on the Merchandising plan (MPL), considering range planning parameters
- Collaborating closely with merchandising, design, development teams, regions, and other stakeholders to ensure the collection reflects market needs and aligns across product segments
- Leading and driving the assigned product category through the entire product development process based on the Go-to-Market calendar
- Managing product costing and understanding its impact on quality, margins, and sales to meet goals
- Presenting strategies and product lines to international partners and key accounts, and preparing for international meetings
- Final review of in-store launch dates
- Providing regular feedback to Senior Management and BU Management on category development
- Planning sell-in support activities and coordinating product packaging and presentation
- Maintaining accurate setup and information for all product lines
- Traveling to target markets and visiting suppliers regularly
- Leading and developing the Product Management team within the Business Unit
- Collaborating with external partners such as assets and Co-Labs
