Tasks

• What you will do
• You’ll become part of an infra team of 3 working closely with our CTO.
• You’re the team that keeps the engine running and fixes things fast.
• Your work will vary, and you’ll get your hands on lots of new tech.
• Ensure uptime and performance of blockchain network infrastructure
• Own routine and emergency maintenance including updates and patches
• Monitor systems proactively and respond quickly to alerts or incidents
• Investigate and mitigate outages or downtime with urgency
• Design and improve network architecture and workflows
• Configure and maintain network hardware, bare metal servers, and firewalls
• Set up and maintain load balancers and secure networking practices
• Continuously develop operational processes and documentation

Requirements

• Who you are
• You are an experienced systems or infrastructure engineer with hero level Linux skills
• The only hard requirement is "LINUX” but Ansible, Terraform and bare metal are all nice to have
• You have hands on experience setting up firewalls and load balancers
• You’re no stranger to networking and architecture
• Able to independently manage, troubleshoot, and improve systems performance
• Crypto/blockchain experience is welcome but not required, we hire for potential and mindset
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high initiative and flexibility to adapt
• Prepared to cover on call duties (fairly divided by the 3 in the team)
• Open to occasional travel and enjoy working in a distributed, self-directed team
• Enjoy working with teammates and value staying connected in a small team setting
