Werkstudent (m/w/d) – Web Developer (Node.js / React) – Cybersecurity Startup – Remote - Stuttgart

We are PCINow GmbH – a small, remote-first cybersecurity company based in Germany. We help international clients (mainly fintech and e-commerce) achieve PCI certifications efficiently, using smart automation and lightweight tools.

To support this, we’re building internal web apps and client portals – and we’re looking for a student developer to join us on real tasks that make a difference.

What You’ll Do

• Build backend logic using Node.js + Express
• Create simple UIs with React or plain HTML/CSS
• Implement file upload, PDF preview, login/auth features
• (Optional) Integrate APIs (e.g. AWS, pCloud, Odoo)

You’ll work directly with the technical founder – no bureaucracy, real learning, and real impact.

Working time: 10–15 hours/week, fully remote

Compensation: €16–20/hour + paid trial task (~6h)

Dein Profil

You Should Have

• Enrolled at a German university (Computer Science or related field)
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
• Basic experience with Node.js and preferably React
• Git basics, ability to debug and work independently
• English language proficiency (our tools and documentation are in English)

Nice To Have

• PostgreSQL, Docker, or REST API experience
• Interest in cybersecurity and secure file handling
• Some Linux/CLI comfort (not required)
