Procurement Manager - Electromechanical Components

We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Manager to take strategic ownership of electromechanical components sourcing—driving innovation, cost optimization, and supply resilience for high-tech production environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead global sourcing activities for electromechanical components (e.g. motors, sensors, connectors, harnesses, relays, mechatronic assemblies) used in high-reliability electronic products
- Develop and implement a category strategy aligned with R&D, Engineering, and Operations to support new product innovation and global manufacturing needs
- Identify, evaluate, and manage a high-performing international supplier base focused on quality, innovation, and cost-efficiency
- Lead commercial negotiations, supplier contracting, and risk mitigation initiatives in a fast-paced, technically complex environment
- Collaborate cross-functionally on design-to-cost and value engineering initiatives to enhance competitiveness
- Support technology scouting and early supplier involvement in strategic development projects (e.g. electrification, IoT, or industrial automation)
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
- 5–10 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably in a high-tech or semiconductor-related manufacturing environment
- Strong background in electromechanical sourcing
- Proven ability to work in matrixed, international teams and across the full product lifecycle (NPI to series production)
- Skilled in supplier negotiations, contract management, and TCO analysis
- Business fluent in English and German
Location Flexibility: There are multiple possible locations across Germany for this role. The position includes approximately 25% international travel, depending on project needs.
