Übersicht
The Business Line Manager will oversee a diverse team across commercial and operations departments, including inside proposal managers, outside business development managers, operations manager, field services, technical support and workshop operations. The role requires dynamic leadership with proven people management skills and commercial/operational acumen.
The Regional Business Manager holds full P&L responsibility for the region, ensuring financial targets are met through strategic planning, budget management and cost control. The successful candidate will drive growth, profitability and operational excellence throughout the region, developing and implementing effective business strategies and practices. Leadership will focus on team development, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment. The role also maintains high customer satisfaction, ensuring delivery of quality and timely services. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication and relationship building skills.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement the regional business strategy, set objectives, create action plans aligned with the overall NCS strategy.
- Profit and Loss (P&L) Management: Monitor financial performance, manage costs, identify opportunities for improving profitability.
- Revenue Growth and Profitability: Drive revenue growth and increase profitability by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and increasing sales volume.
- Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to understand competitive landscape, customer needs and market trends for informed decisions and effective strategies.
- Pricing Strategy: Ensure pricing is market‑based and competitive while maximizing profitability goals.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership to regional sales and operations teams, set targets and ensure team members have the necessary resources and support.
- Sales Management: Oversee both inside and outside sales activities, working closely with the Regional Sales Manager to drive sales performance.
- Operations Management: Oversee operations, work with Operations Manager to ensure efficiency in field service, technical support and workshop operations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on regional performance using KPIs to track progress against objectives.
- Talent Development: Develop and manage the regional team, provide coaching, feedback and training to enhance performance.
- Compliance: Ensure all business operations and activities comply with relevant laws, regulations and company policies.

Qualifikationen
Education
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Advanced degree (MBA) is highly desirable.
- Specialized coursework in areas such as project management, marketing, or finance is also advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a related field, demonstrating leadership skills and a proven track record.
- Extensive experience in sales, marketing or related field with comprehensive business development strategies.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer relationship management; experience identifying new market opportunities.
- Strong negotiation skills; experience closing deals, managing vendor relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience in multicultural environments and remote team management.
- Proficiency in business software, including Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems; experience with business intelligence tools for data analysis.
- Extensive experience in the relevant industry and understanding of regional laws and regulations.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, team management and other business-related tasks.
