Your duties

As part of our Low Code Squad, you'll work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that pushes the boundaries of innovation. Our Java & Angular development environment is based on modern tools. Through our Shared Source Concept, we are connected to many software engineers, working for partners or customers – to develop and invent collaboratively.

Your Duties

• Design, implement, extend, and maintain core system components of a platform empowering diverse industries worldwide.
• Focus on high performance and scalability while ensuring your components are easily testable, maintainable, and run flawlessly.
• Initial emphasis on frontend development with some backend responsibilities, gradually shifting towards a predominantly backend-focused role with lighter frontend tasks.
• Develop and follow a clear architecture that supports long-term growth and sustainability.
• Deliver and maintain code quality and apply state-of-the-art processes.
• Work in a cross-functional development team that has been thriving in an agile environment for over two years.
• Share knowledge in a collaborative, hands-on team, with continuous skill sharpening and mutual growth.

Your profile

• Enthusiastic about working collaboratively in an agile software development team and tackling complex tasks together.
• Deep understanding of web application architectures and deployment scenarios.
• Proven expertise in designing and delivering large-scale business applications.
• Expertise in Java 17, strong proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot, and familiarity with JVM internals and GraalVM.
• Frontend skills in Angular 16+, HTML, CSS, and proficiency in TypeScript for building CLI tools and VS Code plugins.
• Solid understanding of testing principles with tools like JUnit and Mockito; experience with Jtest and Cypress is a plus.
• Social, communicative, hands-on mentality as well as strong problem-solving skills.
• English is a must, German is a plus.
• Willingness to work regularly in our Munich office.
• German residency and work permit.
