Head of Logistics and Procurement (w/m/d)

Hemoteq AG is seeking a Head of Logistics and Procurement (w/m/d) to lead the team and oversee Warehouse, Logistics, Purchasing and ERP.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of about 10 employees and manage the areas of warehouse, logistics, purchasing and ERP
• Conduct procurement negotiations and manage supplier selection and supplier relationship management
• Coordinate operational activities at storage sites and control order flow
• Translate project requirements into logistics, purchasing and ERP system specifications
• Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and manage international customs processes
• Ensure proper handling of hazardous goods and substances in accordance with legal and internal safety guidelines
• Implement new processes and drive continuous improvement

Profile

• Professional qualification in logistics, economics or a comparable field
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Solid knowledge of customs and foreign trade
• Experience with databases and ERP systems
• Familiarity with SCM tools and their application
• Lean Management and Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous
• Independent work style with high level of self-organization
• Strong negotiation skills and confident presence
• Flexible and resilient
• Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken
