Job Description

The Senior Marketing Manager will develop and manage the marketing plan and budget for the Business Unit Food Vertical, oversee content creation, campaign execution, and event planning, ensure stakeholder alignment, and optimize performance through data-driven insights while driving innovation and supporting global marketing strategies.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage Marketing Plan and Budget for Business Unit (BU): Create and oversee the comprehensive marketing plan and budget for the BU ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Yearly Planning and Quarterly Updates: Conduct yearly planning and provide quarterly updates for marketing plans related to applicable solutions, services, and themes/knowledge areas.
  • Secure Target Group Distribution: Oversee the seamless handover of campaigns to regional marketing teams, ensuring effective distribution to target groups.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate and manage stakeholders throughout the planning and development process, including Business Unit, Product Strategy, Sales, and Regional Marketing teams.
  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality collaterals based on the defined content strategy.
  • Supplier Management: Manage external suppliers with clear briefs and approved budgets to create best-in-class campaigns and materials.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan, organize, and execute both virtual and in-person events, ensuring they align with marketing objectives and drive target audience engagement.
  • Performance Tracking and Optimization: Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and events, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, implementing innovative tactics to drive growth.
  • Active Participation in Global Marketing Team: Contribute to the Global Marketing team, ensuring alignment with global strategies and sharing best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the area of Marketing.
  • Proven experience in international B2B company in Marketing organizations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and business acumen.
  • Ability to solve complex business challenges.
  • Good understanding of industry, customers and market dynamics.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Solid judgement of creative work.
  • Innovative and courageous.
  • Strategic mindset and result driven.

  • Excellent in English, written and spoken.
  • The Dutch language is an advantage.
