A Snapshot of Your Day

As global Head (f/m/d) of Grid Technology Factory Digital within Digital Core, you will play a pivotal role as the primary liaison between business and Digital Core. You will lead a team of Digital leaders with extensive experience across Grid Technology plants. You will be responsible for understanding and addressing business priorities, ensuring business confidence in the management of their demands, and encouraging an environment conducive to their growth.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build and maintain positive relationships with Cluster Managers and Product Heads to ensure effective collaboration and accurate reporting.
• Lead a diverse distributed international team, motivating members and delegating tasks to align technology initiatives with overall business strategies.
• Provide mentorship on technology compliance and drive AI adoption initiatives to improve team productivity and operational efficiency.
• Use expertise in operational technology to orchestrate digital manufacturing initiatives, focusing on practical solutions.
• Use industry insights to advise technology decisions, staying updated on trends and regulatory changes through strategic partnerships.
• Supervise the management and rollout of global implementations, ensuring effective program execution and alignment with organizational goals.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 15 years of experience, including 5+ years as a Digital Business Partner in an Operational Technology environment and 3+ years managing distributed teams.
• Proven ability to build, scale, and lead global teams effectively, demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills.
• Significant experience in digital project implementation and management, with a strong focus on delivering results and driving initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure and applications, with hands-on technical expertise in at least one relevant area, along with proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German language.
