Release Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

1. You are responsible for the control and coordination of all activities in the area of release and configuration management.
2. You will ensure that the releases are tested and approved by the client to ensure smooth integration into the production environment.
3. To this end, you will coordinate closely with requirements management and internal and external service providers.
4. You assess dependencies and risks and are therefore able to initiate the necessary countermeasures.
5. You plan and lead review meetings (with software suppliers), status meetings and the Release Advisory Board (RAB) for the final approval of the release.
6. The further development and optimization of the release process as well as the definition of meaningful KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) round off your range of tasks.

Your profile:

1. Completed university of applied sciences or bachelor's degree in the field of information technology or in an IT-related course of study; alternatively: degree as an operational professional or many years of relevant professional experience in IT.
2. Practical experience in release management and the areas of application, quality or project management in-depth knowledge of the relevant processes.
3. Relevant expert knowledge, e.g: Know-how of common IT systems and applications, product knowledge, regulations.
4. Good experience in Java, Jboss, ticket maintenance, JIRA, Confluence changes / change management, hotfixes.
5. Sound methodological know-how (consulting, project management).
6. Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Business fluent in German, English.
9. High self-motivation and assertiveness.
10. Result orientation and strategic thinking.
11. Strong social skills.
