For our Adabas & Natural organization and as a part of the Global Legal Department, we are looking for a committed personality who supports our DACH legal department and advises and supports the central areas at our headquarters in Darmstadt on legal issues. In our global company you can expect challenging tasks in a team that operates worldwide.

YOUR TASKS

The focus of the interesting activity lies in the area of corporate law plus IT/IP related matters:

• Processing of legal issues relating to corporate law:
  • shareholder approvals, resolutions and instructions
  • advice to the Managing Directors
  • corporate housekeeping for subsidiaries in Austria and Switzerland
  • corporate governance matters
• IT/IP related matters: supporting the sales team regarding license contracts and IP questions
• Observation and implementation of new legislation on national and EU-level (DORA, Data Act…)
• Supporting the Data Protection Officer on GDPR-related questions
• Supporting the Compliance Officer and the development of corporate policies/standards
• Advising the central areas in all legal matters that arise in the company and managing our external legal advisors

YOUR PROFILE

You are a fully qualified lawyer and have already gained 5-7 years of professional experience in a law firm or in the legal department of an international business enterprise.

You can also convince us with the following skills:

• Profound expertise and experience in corporate law
• Solid, expendable expertise in IT law and data protection regulations
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
• Willingness to cover a broad scope of legal matters
• Ambition to familiarize with related legal areas
• Fluent in English & German
• Very good communication skills as well as commitment, flexibility and teamwork
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Offic e
