For our facility in Heidelberg, we are looking for a highly engaged Senior HR Business Partner (m / f / d), to be part of our European HR team. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will support a diverse and international business to ensure effective systems and processes are in place to drive the business and help deliver people management strategies aligned with our overall strategic aims.

Your responsibilities :

  1. Deliver advanced-level generalist duties, handling highly intricate HR matters across various functional areas such as recruitment, employee and labour relations, compensation and benefits, and organizational development and training.
  2. Foster a collaborative atmosphere and be a trusted partner to employees, management, and the works council.
  3. Initiate and support change management initiatives, lead organizational development efforts, implement effective solutions, and build effective teams.
  4. Support internal talent development by identifying training needs, designing and conducting training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness.
  5. Lead global processes related to compensation, performance management, and talent management activities.
  6. Recommend, develop, communicate, and implement new policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and problem resolution, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws.

Your Qualifications :

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field.
  • Ideally 6-8 years of Business HR experience and familiarity with one other HR specialization; automotive industry knowledge is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of labour law and works constitution law.
  • A passion for people combined with strong business acumen.
  • Proactive, initiative-taking, and able to handle challenging assignments, creating opportunities where none seem to exist.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling solutions at all organizational levels.
