For our division IT, at our location in Köln we are looking for a Director IT Finance and Data Solutions (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the IT strategy for Finance solutions aligned with corporate goals and IT governance.
• Drive the roadmap for Finance IT systems, including SAP FI/CO, BW/4HANA, and S/4HANA transformation.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Finance leadership, ensuring IT solutions meet business, compliance, and regulatory needs.
• Promote standardization, automation, and process excellence across Finance IT systems and data landscapes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of IT Finance experts (SAP FI/CO, BW/4HANA, Data Architecture, BI/Analytics).
• Foster strong partnerships with Finance, Controlling, Accounting, and corporate functions.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Master Data Management, and other IT domains to ensure integration and process consistency.
• Champion a culture of data literacy, accountability, and innovation.
• Oversee the design and implementation of data architecture frameworks supporting Finance processes.
• Ensure efficient management and customization of SAP FI/CO modules, including integration with external systems and S/4HANA initiatives.
• Drive development and optimization of SAP BW/4HANA models and BI solutions for high-quality reporting and insights.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance Finance IT capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements.
• Oversee IT project delivery in the Finance domain, ensuring scope, quality, budget, and timelines are met.
• Establish and enforce standards and best practices for Finance IT architecture, data management, and system integration.

Your Walk Of Life

• Manage vendor relationships and external partners for Finance IT services and projects.
• Master’s degree in information technology, Business Informatics, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles with strong exposure to Finance systems and processes.
• Proven track record in managing SAP FI/CO, BW/4HANA, and large-scale ERP transformation projects (preferably S/4HANA).
• Solid understanding of data architecture, integration, and governance in Finance contexts.
