Your responsibilities
- Your primary responsibility will be to design utility-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects with an initial focus on project development support
- Using industry-standard software, technical design work will progress from preliminary to detail level in line with project development maturity
- Optimize layouts and yields based on constraint analysis
- Design in compliance with industry codes and standards and incorporate feedback from Construction, Operations and Development
- Support the preparation of post-construction documentation
- Provide expertise during project development and implementation, remotely and on site
- Support and lead technical due diligences
- Coordinate with Renewables teams and external partners (developers, engineers, project-, contract- and offtake-managers, market and strategy analysts)
- Maintain strong stakeholder management internally and externally
Your profile
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field)
- Extensive experience in utility-scale solar design and project delivery
- Proficiency in solar PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD) and understanding of renewable energy systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system optimization capabilities
- Proven track record of international work experience and cultural adaptability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Business fluency in English (other languages are an advantage)
- Open to working in Düsseldorf or Berlin
- Open-minded, proactive, and detail-oriented
