(Senior) Engineer – Electrical Simulation Modeling (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Develop models of the electrical characteristics of generation units to comply with (inter-) national grid codes and guidelines
  • Validate and evaluate wind turbine simulation models
  • Prepare external model validation within the certification process of electrical properties
  • Support simulation models for internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and review technical documents
  • Automate validation and verification tasks
  • Participate in or support (inter-) national committees in modeling and validation procedures

Your Qualifications

  • Master’s or Diplom‑Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in power, control, or automation engineering—or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the grid integration of generation plants
  • Know‑how of power engineering, control engineering or power electronics
  • Experience with RMS or EMT modelling in at least one simulation software like PSCAD or DigSilent Powerfactory
  • Knowledge of MATLAB, Python and other simulation software such as PSS/E, EMTP‑RV and EMTP‑ATP is appreciated
  • Experience in the development of frequency‑domain simulation models (harmonic models) will be an added advantage
  • Good written and spoken German and English
