In Ditzingen, you will encounter security solutions for monitoring and safeguarding borders and border controls, protection of civil and military facilities and tactical communication. This is the right place for you if you want to join us in developing and producing tactical radio equipment for networked operations guidance during military missions. Join the Thales expert team for cybersecurity and cryptography, for encryption components and hardware security modules and electronic key management systems. We are happy to have you on board!

Your mission

• You will drive the achievement of project objectives by securing contractual commitments, including costs, quality, deadlines, and forecast financial results.
• You are responsible for ensuring comprehensive project structuring, overseeing allocated funds, efficient organization, and meticulous planning.
• You will serve as the customer interface, fostering strong relationships to ensure success and maximize customer satisfaction.
• You will lead and inspire your team, ensuring high motivation through innovative and challenging engagements.
• Coordinate and manage internal contractors, partners, and subcontractors for seamless collaboration and integration.
• You will strategically manage risks and opportunities, proactively mitigating risks and capitalizing on emerging opportunities within the project scope.

We are looking forward to

• Graduate in an IT or Engineering field of study (e.g. IT, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Wirtschafts-/Ingenieurwesen) or equivalent qualification.
• Technical background specializing in project management, with at least 10 years' experience managing complex projects or programs, preferably in the defense sector.
• Familiarity with working in a multicultural environment.
• Strong communication skills in German and English both spoken and written.
• Technically, you will impress us with your project management experience in an international environment, with cross-functional management involving several partners in complex settings.
• Personally, you will inspire us with your excellent communication and relationship skills, demonstrated strong leadership to drive competitiveness initiatives, organized with strong interpersonal skills as well as strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
