Our client is seeking a VP Production to play a crucial role within the Powerplant and Production team, supporting the successful delivery of new aircraft and transition projects. Reporting to the EVP Powerplant and Production, this position is based in Hamburg and requires close collaboration with Airbus, Boeing, and other stakeholders to oversee aircraft deliveries and ensure the highest operational standards.

Reports to: EVP Powerplant and Production

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all technical aspects of new aircraft deliveries from Airbus, ensuring compliance with purchase agreements and the build standards of Sale-Leaseback (SLB) aircraft.
  2. Manage the aircraft delivery pipeline, from initial specification validation through final delivery, working closely with OEMs and internal teams.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, customer airlines, and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless aircraft deliveries and redeliveries.
  4. Develop and refine best-in-class delivery processes in collaboration with the Powerplant and Production team and external partners.
  5. Ensure accurate documentation and upload aircraft specifications and records into internal systems.
  6. Represent the company at OEM technical forums, industry events, and conferences, setting strategic agendas to maximize business value.
  7. Oversee and coordinate external consultants supporting aircraft deliveries, ensuring access to top-tier industry expertise.
  8. Provide expert technical-commercial insights throughout the leasing lifecycle, contributing to LOI and lease negotiations for both new and used aircraft.
  9. Maintain close working relationships with airline technical teams and senior personnel, ensuring effective collaboration.

What You Bring:

  1. 5+ years of experience in engine MRO, OEM, leasing, or airline operations, with direct engagement at all management levels.
  2. A degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field, FAA/EASA aircraft mechanic certification, or an equivalent Aircraft OEM qualification.
  3. Proven expertise in aircraft deliveries and OEM processes.
  4. Strong technical and commercial knowledge of aircraft delivery and operations.
