For a dynamic, future-oriented company in the ? of Erlangen we are currently looking for a Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) Safety I&C.

The Erlangen-based company is a leader in the innovative field of nuclear technology and, as a global energy group with a focus on renewable energies and sustainable development, currently employs 14,000 people worldwide. The position is permanent and full-time (35 h / week).

The tasks:

• Creation and maintenance of functional and requirement specifications
• Documentation for users and developers
• Continuous improvement of the tools in coordination with users
• Project support for the tool application
• User training for the tools

What you bring with you:

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar
• Initial experience with functional and requirement specifications and their implementation
• Sound programming knowledge (e.g. VBA, C, Perl, Python, Java)
• Confident handling of databases, ideally knowledge of SQL
• Experience in software documentation and code commenting
• Basic understanding of hardware design (ideally TXS platform)
• English language skills at B1 level
