• Creating and developing the software architecture for centrifuges / incubators, taking into account the system and software requirements as well as the safety requirements
• Developing and maintaining a modular embedded software architecture
• Developing and ensuring a future-proof software platform strategy, taking performance, scalability and maintainability into account
• Defining interfaces, software components and defining responsibilities
• Promoting an understanding of architecture within the software team
• Identifying and integrating new technologies to increase product value

Your profile

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a software architect (m/f/d)
• Sound knowledge in the areas of embedded C / C++, ARM Cortex M controllers, embedded operating systems (e.g. FreeRTOS, embedded Linux) and software lifecycle management
• Experience in the area of regulatory compliance (IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485) for software architecture
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Analytical thinking and structured way of working as well as personal responsibility and communication skills
