About Our Client: A leading engineering & technology services organization working with automotive OEMs on electrification, software-defined vehicles, and powertrain solutions. They design, validate, and launch advanced propulsion systems, integrating hardware, software, and innovation across features like drive modes and energy management.

Responsibilities

  • Translate customer requirements and market trends into detailed technical specifications for chassis systems, including suspension, steering, braking, and vehicle dynamics.
  • Oversee the development and validation of chassis systems, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry standards.
  • Manage a team of system engineers, guiding them in deriving system requirements from technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with OEMs such as Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Stellantis to ensure seamless integration of chassis systems.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations, including ASPICE levels 1, 2, and 3.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of system engineering processes and methodologies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proficiency in automotive embedded systems and their integration into chassis systems.
  • Strong knowledge of system architecture design and development principles.
  • Experience in requirement elicitation and specification within the automotive domain.
  • Familiarity with ASPICE standards, particularly levels 1, 2, and 3.
  • Experience in managing system engineering teams and projects.
  • Fluency in German (professional work proficiency or native level).
